About the role: 

As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. 

  • Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities

  • In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing

  • Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan

  • Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

  • Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:  

  • Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential

  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential

  • Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential

  • Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc

  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
