The Permitting Coordinator is responsible for managing the permitting process for construction projects, ensuring timely and accurate acquisition of necessary permits. This role involves close coordination with estimating, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit permit applications and supporting documentation.

• Track permit status and communicate with permitting agencies.

• Coordinate with estimating to gather required information for permits.

• Ensure compliance with all permitting regulations and building codes.

• Maintain permit files and documentation.

• Liaise with contractors and subcontractors regarding permitting requirements.

• Attend permit-related meetings and inspections.

• Research and stay updated on permitting regulations and changes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of one year permitting experience.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.   

• Proficiency in computer software, including permit management systems.

• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
