Duties & Responsibilities:
 

• Perform capacity/performance management and stress testing for Tier 2 systems (UNIX, Linux & Windows) according to industry standard procedures.
• Assist the Performance Assurance with a performance and load testing strategy, to include:
• General, overall support in the areas of troubleshooting, resolution of stress testing and capacity/performance problems reported from the field, to include development, test, production, or disaster/recovery domains/machines.
• Analyze and recommend changes to Tier 2 hardware and software to improve performance such as configuration tuning, additional hardware, additional software, etc.
• Conduct performance testing by generating load on webserver or application using virtual user technology.
• Work closely with staff to prepare test scripts and simulation workload.
• Prepare final test report and to post on Performance Assurance Section 2 website.
• Other duties as necessary for meeting performance expectations and/or assigned to Employee from time to time by Intact.

Required Qualifications: 
 

• Knowledge, skills, abilities and demonstrated experience with, but not limited to the following software and hardware platform environments and for the successful execution of tasks
• Performance Analysis Tools: HP LoadRunner, HP Performance Center, Athene, LoadRunner Cloud and other tools as acquired
• Programming languages: C, Java, Pearl
• Hardware Platforms: Sun Solaris, Windows/LINUX Servers, ESX/HP x86 and cross-platform microcomputers
• Prepare/perform capacity/performance tests and write the performance test result reports.
