Performance Marketing Specialist
Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Performance Marketing Specialist to join our team!
You’ll support the execution and optimization of paid ad campaigns primarily across biddable platforms like Google and Bing, but it may also extend to other platforms and media vendors such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or TikTok If you're an organized self-starter interested in performance marketing, eager to learn and grow, and have a love for Japanese snacks and culture, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in trafficking, launching, and monitoring paid ad campaigns - primarily SEM, display, video, and app campaigns - across Google and Microsoft Ads.
- Maintain strong account hygiene: naming conventions, regular search query reports, refine negative keywords, regular competitive analysis, and creative quality optimization.
- Oversee accounts across 4 different brands, effectively managing evergreen campaigns and regular monthly promotions.
- Help prepare performance reports and summarize key insights to support optimization strategies.
- Track and report ad spend across platforms to support budget management.
Collaborate with the design, content, and strategy teams to help ensure smooth campaign execution. - Stay updated on new tools, features, and trends across platforms and share relevant insights with the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in managing paid ads on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads ; bonus if you've run Meta, TikTok, Pinterest Reddit, or other media.
- Familiarity with ad platform dashboards, pixel setup, and conversion tracking.
- Comfortable using tools like Asana, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or other tools for tracking and reporting.
- Ability to communicate with design teams and understand ad creative specs across channels.
- Self-starter who stays up-to-date with digital ad trends and platform updates.
- Strong English communication skills; bonus points for Japanese language fluency or interest in Japanese culture.
Training will be provided to ensure you have the knowledge and tools necessary for success in this role.
