The ideal candidate is a quick learner and a resourceful problem solver with a keen attention to detail and a knack for connecting with customers on Meta and TikTok. This position reports to the Director of Performance Marketing.
Travel for company offsites is expected at a minimum 2 times a year.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute paid acquisition strategies and campaigns to drive cost-efficient acquisition of marketing qualified leads
  • Analyze and report on campaign, ad set, and creative performance to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations to achieve team KPIs
  • Design and launch statistically sound A/B tests to prove the effectiveness of marketing tactics and creative assets
  • Manage the ad creation process from start to finish, including organizing creative brainstorms, writing creative briefs, and launching campaigns
  • Develop new creative concepts and value propositions to improve advertising effectiveness and reach qualified new customers

Candidate Qualifications

  • Proven ability to create, manage, and optimize paid growth campaigns on Meta and TikTok, with accountability for performance metrics like CPA, ROAS, and LTV
  • Track record of paid growth experimentation and experience managing monthly budgets of $500,000+
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, with exceptional results orientation and agility
  • Knowledge of the ad-tech stack for mobile acquisition, including tracking and measurement (MMP & SKAdNetwork), bid management, and attribution
  • Experience developing a strong creative pipeline for advertising
  • Ability to build reports and pull data with minimal support
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines

What you can expect in your first 30 Days:

  • Onboarding and Familiarization: You'll dive into Empower's current paid social strategies on platforms like Meta and TikTok. Understanding the existing campaign setups, creative processes, and how the team approaches customer acquisition will be key.
  • Building Relationships: You'll meet with the Director of Performance Marketing, key team members, and cross-functional teams (like creative and data analytics) to understand their roles and how you'll collaborate on campaigns.
  • Assessing Current Campaigns: You'll start reviewing performance data, existing ads, and reporting tools to understand the effectiveness of current campaigns. This might involve hands-on analysis using Excel, Google Sheets, or other tools.
  • Initial Campaign Management: You may be responsible for managing or optimizing smaller campaigns or ad sets, getting a feel for Empower's processes around creative briefing, campaign setup, and reporting.

What you can expect in your first 90 Days:

  • Taking Ownership of Campaigns: By this point, you'll be actively managing and optimizing major paid social campaigns on Meta and TikTok. You'll be tasked with driving customer acquisition while keeping key performance metrics like CPA, ROAS, and LTV in mind.
  • Creative Collaboration and Testing: You'll collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm new concepts, write briefs, and test new ads. A/B testing will be a core part of your role to continuously improve performance.
  • Deep-Dive Reporting: You'll analyze campaign performance data, turning insights into actionable recommendations to improve acquisition efficiency. You'll also present findings and suggest optimizations to the Director of Performance Marketing.
  • Establishing Reporting Processes: You will be refining and possibly automating data reporting processes to make sure you can quickly and effectively assess campaign performance with minimal support.

What you can expect in your first year:

  • Mastering Campaign Performance: By the end of the first year, you'll be a driving force behind Empower's paid social strategy, optimizing monthly budgets of $500,000+ and continuously refining campaigns to meet and exceed KPIs.
  • Leading Strategic Initiatives: You'll be leading larger strategic initiatives around new customer acquisition, implementing advanced testing frameworks (A/B, multivariate tests), and improving overall ad effectiveness.
  • Scaling Creative Efforts: You'll have built a strong pipeline for ad creatives, helping Empower reach new qualified customers more efficiently. You'll refine the creative process to streamline the production and launch of ads.
  • Budget and Resource Management: You'll take full responsibility for managing large acquisition budgets, making data-driven decisions to ensure efficient and profitable growth. Your ability to connect with customers and craft compelling value propositions will be evident in your results.
