The CIB UK Finance team is responsible for planning/budgeting of the CIB business in order to properly forecast and track the results and provide the necessary support to management to monitor the business and make strategic decisions. In addition, the team is in charge of the accounting and regulatory reporting, Cost management functions, Tax, Liquidity & Capital efficiency and Performance Management.
About the job:
1. Position Summary
The Performance Management function in Finance CIB UK drives Financial KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and continues support to the Branch CFO is specific analysis and presentations. Partner with support and front office stakeholders to deliver insights that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
2. Key Responsibilities
Oversee periodic performance reporting, analysis and business reviews.
Manage annual budgeting and forecasts; conduct scenario and driver-based analyses.
Define and monitor financial and operational KPIs; develop dashboards for the business support
Ensure high-quality deliverables.
Present insights and recommendations to the CFO and Business areas.
3. Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Finance, Economics or related field; MBA preferred.
6+ years in FP&A, performance management, finance transformation within financial services or consultancy firms.
Experience with stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
Professional certification (CIMA, ACCA, CFA) desirable.
4. Skills & Competencies
Advanced Excel and BI (Power BI/Tableau) expertise.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of UK banking regulations, finance controls and CIB products.
Language: Fluent both in English and Spanish.
