What is the plot?
We’re the Online Video Platforms team, here to make your streaming experience smooth and effortless. We manage access to content, the number of devices and streams, and ensure your shows play instantly. We remember where you left off, provide parental controls, and keep your content secure with all the necessary security checks in the background. In short, we take care of all the technical details so you can enjoy a hassle-free streaming experience.
What role will you play?
You will be part of a dynamic team developing, maintaining and enhancing the gatling-based performance test automation framework, running/analyzing performance tests, and automation of tasks through CD pipelines. Along with this, you will also be expected to periodically analyse production statistics and feed this information into your team’s performance test suite.
Your daily tasks:

Participate in analysing business and technical requirements to derive low-level non-functional requirements.

Build & Maintain performance test framework through CD pipelines.

Evangelize the use of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to drive modern development practices.

Test data creation and manipulation.

Perform detailed analysis of the performance test results and any performance/resilience issues in integrated non-functional testing environment.

Provide the performance test criteria towards signing off upcoming requirements tasked in sprint planning.

Perform production performance analysis, including application monitoring and third-party application response time monitoring.

Strive for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and ways of working.
What skills do you need to play your role well?

2+ years of experience in non-functional testing of large-scale applications, preferably media based.

Experience of Gatling (Java or Scala) and other open-source performance tooling.

Experience of working in CI/CD pipelines using configuration and build tools such as Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Gradle/Maven.

Be efficient with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Fluent in written and spoken English.
