About the Role
The Performance Copywriter drives qualified lead growth by improving click-through and conversion performance across ads, landing pages, popups, and funnel copy.
You will write, test, and optimize performance-driven copy across the full funnel — increasing CTR and CVR while protecting lead quality and downstream acceptance rates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize conversion-focused copy for landing pages, popups, and forms
- Improve CVR without degrading lead quality or downstream performance
- Collaborate with CRO, design, and dev to test and deploy copy changes
- Analyze page-level performance (CVR, bounce rate, drop-off) post-launch
- Iterate copy based on data, not opinions
- Maintain consistency with ODIN’s ICP, positioning, and compliance tone
- Support ad-to-landing-page message match for paid traffic
- Document learnings and winning patterns for reuse across funnels
Requirements
Required Experience:
- 2+ years experience writing conversion copy for ads, landing pages or funnels
- Familiarity with CRO concepts (CVR, bounce rate, form drop-off)
- Experience working with performance marketers or CRO teams
- Ability to write for high-consideration, high-trust services
- Comfort iterating copy based on data and feedback
Favorable Experience:
- Experience in finance, property, tax, or professional services
- Exposure to B2B or high-ticket lead generation funnels
- Understanding of qualification forms and lead quality signals
- Experience working with HubSpot or similar CRMs
- Familiarity with A/B testing or structured experimentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Relevant copywriting or marketing certifications (optional)
Required Skills:
- Excellent written English and attention to detail
- Conversion-focused copywriting (headlines, body copy, CTAs)
- Ability to write clearly, concisely, and persuasively
- Basic analytical skills to interpret CVR, bounce rate, and drop-off data
- Collaboration skills across CRO, design, and dev teams
