We’re looking for a Performance Coach to join our team! You will join a team of performance-driven, self-starting members who are constantly seeking ways to serve our customers more effectively, all while building an enduring movement-lifestyle brand.
The right candidate is eager to join a fast-paced team, is forward-thinking, and is hungry to positively impact the quality of life of the people we serve. This position is based out of our headquarters in Seattle, WA. However, candidates outside of this region will be considered.

Vimocity’s proven injury-prevention solution is based on strategies that are usually reserved for elite athletes and are delivered through educational workshops and engaging digital programs that personalize prevention for each individual and aggregates data to drive company-wide performance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You will be responsible for directly interacting with our customers through both in-person and video-based encounters. You will also travel to customer sites and implement educational workshops with customers in a variety of industries, such as the renewable energy sector, public utilities, construction, and supply chain. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partnering with customers to conduct various educational activities and events.
- Collecting and reporting success metrics to customers, such as workshop attendance, customer engagement scores, outreach effectiveness, and identifying areas for improved customer success.
- Participating in program planning and development, as well as designing and/or implementing customer or industry-specific research.
- Reviewing customer historical injury data to identify trends and opportunities for injury prevention strategies to be implemented.
- Performing job-task analysis and filming to understand the physical requirements of common, daily, work-related activities.
- Promoting the Vimocity Movement MethodTM through the production of video-based, written, and audio-based content. Vimocity performance coaches are the face of the Vimocity brand and are regularly featured in Vimocity’s educational content, which is delivered via web and phone applications.
- Travel is required for this role and could be as much as 70% (at times) based on business needs.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years formal coaching experience in strength & conditioning, personal training, athletic training, etc.
- BA/BS Kinesiology/Sports Science, and/or DPT, and/or DC
- Currently holds industry certifications, preferably NSCA-CSCS, NASM, and/or ATC/L
- (Optional) Experience with the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) or other industry-standard movement assessments
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service skills. Servicing the “customer” is the top priority.
- Strong grasp of human movement mechanics
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills- including presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently
