Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to support the Firm's Performance & Advancement team and assist with the coordination of performance management and advancement processes for attorneys and consulting professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with demonstrated success providing administrative and coordination support in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Reporting to the Director of Performance Management, this role will assist with the administration of performance management systems and processes, reporting and documentation, meeting coordination, and other activities that support the Firm's performance and advancement objectives.

 Responsibilities

  • Administer the Firm's performance management system (currently viEval) and related processes, including maintaining review forms, surveys, system data, user access, and supporting documentation.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for performance management process questions and coordinate performance review and advancement timelines by tracking completion of required activities, maintaining target deadlines, and following up with participants to ensure timely execution of review processes.

  • Draft and distribute communications, documentation, and other materials related to performance management and advancement activities.

  • Maintain performance management records, process documentation, trackers, confidential files, and review resources, ensuring information, documentation, and target deadlines remain accurate and up to date throughout each review cycle.

  • Partner with Accounting to support the import of review-related matter data and assist in identifying and resolving data issues.

  • Research, analyze, and organize historical performance management data to prepare reports, presentations, and other reporting materials.

  • Conduct routine data audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with committees and business partners to evaluate updates to performance management processes, templates, forms, and related resources.

  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and related logistics supporting performance management and advancement activities, including committee meetings and other review-related processes.

  • Partner with Engagement, Training and Development, Human Resources, Accounting, and other business teams to support performance management and advancement activities.

  • Maintain current professional rosters throughout the review cycle, including tracking new hires, departures, and leaves of absence, and any other data relevant to the review process.

  • Maintain the Firm's real-time feedback process and ensure feedback is shared with the appropriate stakeholders.

  • Assist with surveys and data collection efforts, including sourcing and compiling professional development data.

  • Assist with special projects and other initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting performance management, professional development, learning and development, organizational development, human resources, or related talent functions, preferably within a law firm, consulting firm, or similar professional services organization.

  • Experience working within a law firm or other professional services organization is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated client service orientation with the ability to build effective working relationships and interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the Firm while appropriately holding participants accountable for program responsibilities, timelines, and deadlines.

  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.

  • Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships, respond effectively to stakeholder needs, navigate challenging situations with professionalism, and contribute positively within a team environment.

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to compile, organize, analyze, and draw logical conclusions from data and information presented in a variety of formats.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and proofreading skills, with the ability to prepare professional communications and produce accurate, high-quality work.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Experience with viEval, Workday, or similar systems is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams, managing changing priorities, and accomplishing multiple detailed tasks simultaneously with a proactive and positive approach.

The base annual pay range for this role is between $70,000–$77,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience and location.  A full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position will also be offered.
