This role is for a PeopleSoft Developer with State Government expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining PeopleSoft applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Development:
Design and develop custom solutions using PeopleTools, including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.
Create and modify reports using SQR, PS Query, nVision, and BI Publisher.
Develop and maintain interfaces between PeopleSoft and external systems.
System Maintenance and Support:
Provide ongoing support for PeopleSoft Financials modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Commitment Control (KK).
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system performance, integrations, or customizations.
Perform system upgrades and apply patches to ensure compliance with Oracle standards.
Data Management:
Support data migration processes from legacy systems to PeopleSoft.
Write SQL queries for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting purposes.
Ensure data integrity during system integrations and migrations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with functional analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate with testing teams to validate system functionality during SIT and UAT phases.
Document technical designs and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
Extensive experience in PeopleSoft development using PeopleTools (Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces).
Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials modules in version 9.2.
Proficiency in SQL, SQR, PS Query, nVision reporting tools.
Familiarity with integration technologies such as Integration Broker or REST APIs.
Experience working on hybrid ERP solutions integrating legacy systems into modern platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve system issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Certifications such as Oracle/PeopleTools Certified Expert are preferred.
