About the role
Act as the key liaison for People Systems team, partnering the business stakeholders, the People and Technology teams and external vendors to ensure HR’s system requirements are understood and delivered to meet business needs
Identify and gather business requirements, process workflow, design/ recommend/ prioritize solutions, manage the external vendors on project initiatives per the Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Responsible to communicate all changes or new processes to end-users and managers, includes creation of user guides and conduct training sessions
Manage escalation issues including but not limited to triaging Tier 2 issues, performing impact analysis for reported defects/issues, and determining the right solutions to be implemented internally or via the external vendors engaged for project initiatives
Examine/review new Workday releases and enable useful features to be used company wide
Create new custom reports and maintain existing reports to ensure the relevancy and comply to regulatory requirements
Execute mass data upload (system configuration data) via Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
Act as security administrator to configure and maintain security within Workday application and tracked through Sailpoint MyAccess
Provide support to members in internal Workday technical team and be able to provide cover duties (eg scheduled jobs monitoring) if required
Role Requirements:
A tertiary degree in Computer Science, Human Resources or equivalent
Posses good understanding of HR work processes and employees data to support the People team (primary) effectively and provide good advice to other system integration teams within the Bank
At least 2 years or more of hands-on configuration experience on Workday or at least been configuring on SuccessFactors for the past 5 years with an eagerness to learn Workday on the job
Possess good knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies to execute without foregoing proper system documentation
Able to operate independently and proactively to get things done, not foregoing the internal system change control procedures
It will also be advantageous if you :
Understand the IT Service Management (ITSM) framework in place for Bank environment, including across group strictures or subsidiaries
Understand the importance of data or reporting governance for the financial institutions
Have a good overview on Workday security features and controls
