We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People Services Administrator to join our dynamic HR team in Chandlers Ford on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, supporting key HR processes and contributing to the smooth running of our people operations.
What does this role involve?
As HR Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for new starters. This includes issuing contracts, collecting necessary documentation, and conducting pre-employment checks such as right to work verification and reference collection. You’ll ensure all new employees are accurately set up in our HR systems and ready for a smooth start.
You will also handle contractual changes for existing employees, drafting and issuing variation letters for changes such as promotions, role transitions, and adjustments to working patterns. Maintaining accurate records of these amendments will be a key part of your role.
In addition, you’ll act as a first point of contact for general people queries, providing clear and supportive guidance on HR policies and procedures. You’ll play an important role in supporting family leave processes, including maternity and paternity, ensuring compliance and timely communication throughout.
Maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS will be part of your daily routine, along with assisting in reporting and data accuracy checks to support wider HR initiatives.
Who are we looking for?
You’ll have previous experience as an HR administrative role or similar, where you will bring strong attention to detail and have excellent organisational skills. You’ll need to be a confident communicator with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally. Familiarity with HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Previous experience using Workday would be advantageous.
