"As the manager of People Operations, I’m looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented People Operations Partner with a tenacity in continuous process improvement and thrives in a HR operations role. This role is crucial in optimizing our HR services and ensuring smooth operations across the organization.“

How does that translate into your everyday life?

  • Trusted Partnership
  • Serve as the primary liaison with internal stakeholders for shared services teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful HR solutions.
  • Improve and manage daily employee lifecycle processes.

  • HR Operations 
  • Develop, implement, and optimize HR processes and programs.
  • Recommend and draft policies to enhance HR practices.
  • Ensure data integrity in our HR system through accurate status change approvals.
  • Assist with escalated cases, such as benefit administration, disability cases, involuntary terminations, and payroll changes.
  • Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and participate in the Joint Health & Safety Committee.

  • People-Related Projects
  • Run the Employee Engagement Program, including communications, surveys, insights, and recommendations.
  • Support the creation of new programs aligned with business and people goals.
  • Manage internal global mobility cases with the People Operations team.
  • Assist in reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Conduct employment agreements annual compliance reviews and templates.

To be successful in this role, your background includes:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5 years of professional experience in HR, with 3 years in a People Business Partnership or People Operations role.
  • A proven track record in designing and executing programs, initiatives, and changes from start to finish.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise HCM systems; Dayforce experience is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of provincial labour standards across Canada; U.S. knowledge is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of Canadian benefits; U.S. benefits experience is a bonus.
  • Ability to collaborate with department leaders to drive business strategy and operational goals.
  • Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with employees at all levels
