Role Mission
The People Operations Expert EMEA will support the compliance, and people operations across Spain, Portugal, Italy, UK and Romania. This role oversees employee lifecycle administration, payroll operations, employment documentation, and HR compliance while providing an exceptional employee experience. Acting as the main point of contact for payroll-related matters, the role supports employees, manages operational processes, and drives consistency across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end People Operations processes (onboarding, offboarding, payroll, hr administration) across EMEA.
Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll questions and support.
Report monthly payroll inputs to the payroll provider and review, validate payroll outputs for each country and ensure coordination with Finance team
Ensure accurate and compliant employee records across all systems (Personio, Deel, ADP Celergo)
Maintain and update the HR database and employee documentary history, ensuring all records are organized and up to date.
Support compliance with local labor regulations and employment requirements across all countries in scope.
Drive continuous improvements in People Operations practices across the EMEA region.
Previous experience in People Operations, Payroll and HR administration.
Strong experience managing People Operations in Spain.
Experience supporting multiple European countries, ideally including Italy, Portugal, and/or Romania.
Hands-on experience with payroll processes, payroll incident management, and employee payroll support.
Solid knowledge of employment contracts, employee documentation, and HR administration.
Experience using Personio, Deel and ADP Celergo.
Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
