People Operations Coordinator

In this role, you can expect to:

• Generate HR-related documents for employes:
• Creates documents for employees including employment verification letters other documents as required.
• Creates and files job change letters and employment agreements.
• Assists people team with review, delivery and filing of letters and documentation in tandem with semi-annual cyclical programs and ad-hoc employees.


• Administer and coordinate benefits for US and Canadian employees:
• Supports Employees with benefits enrollment and administration.
• Sends out organizational communications around benefit updates and deadlines.
• Ensures all benefit enrolment and updates are processed in a timely fashion.


• Assist in the administration of employee onboarding and offboarding:
• Collects relevant documents for new employee’s onboarding.
• Conducts a new hire onboarding orientation with new employees during their first week.
• Completes updates to employee profiles on HRIS system during onboarding and offboarding.
• Communicates with and assists offboarding employees.


• Supports People Team programs, projects, systems, and reporting:
• Responds to employee and manager inquiries about people team processes and programs.
• Assists in People team projects by executing tasks, taking meeting minutes, scheduling follow-up meetings, and coordinating team timelines.
• Supports in creating and updating reports for employee performance management and compensation.
• Prepares monthly and ad-hoc reports and org charts, as well as other documents and reports as needed
• Executes processes in HRIS system (Dayforce) as per established processes.
• Proactively suggests and recommends updates and optimizations to established processes to promote efficiency.
• Other related duties as required.

Your background includes:

• Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or administration.
• Intermediate to advanced level in Google Suite and MS Office Suite.
• Fluency in French is an asset but not required.
• Knowledge of Canadian (BC, QC, PEI) and US (CA, TX) employment law is a asset but not required.
• Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Driven, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced and agile environment.
