TITLE: People Operations Coordinator
LOCATION: New York City (hybrid) or primarily remote in the Greater NYC or New England metro areas, with occasional local travel required
SALARY: $60,000 to $70,000 (based on New York, will be adjusted for geo)

As a People Resources Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in fostering a positive and productive work environment by supporting various People team functions. You'll work closely with the People team to execute initiatives related to recruiting, retaining, and developing our employees. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about helping others thrive in their roles.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and offboarding activities, including preparing materials, scheduling training sessions, facilitating introductions, and handling administrative tasks related to employee arrivals and departures.
- Maintain accurate employee records and databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Generate HR reports and analytics to support the People team in data-driven decision-making.
- Track and ensure compliance on all employee information and documentation as dictated by governing agencies and policies, including new hire required documentation, employee actions, performance reviews, progressive discipline, and termination.
- Contribute to HR projects and tasks as assigned by leadership.
- Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and maintaining compliant HR materials, including policies and employee handbooks.
- Maintain the people resources intranet site.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, providing timely and empathetic support.
- Help organize team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and other initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale.
- Assist with the recruitment process as needed. Duties include identifying candidates, performing reference checks, issuing employment contracts, and maintaining the applicant tracking system database.

- Previous experience in HR, recruitment, or administrative roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
