DIALOG is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented People & Culture (P&C) Generalist to join our Toronto studio. In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of People & Culture while helping foster a positive, engaging employee experience across the studio.
Working closely with the Toronto P&C Manager, you’ll help ensure the seamless delivery of core processes, provide frontline support to employees, and contribute to key programs and initiatives. How you'll make a difference:
- Deliver day-to-day People & Culture support to the Toronto studio, including onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and maintaining accurate employee records
- Prepare and manage reporting, tracking, and documentation to support informed decision-making and smooth studio operations
- Partner with the People & Culture Manager to implement and administer programs related to Total Rewards, engagement, and retention
- Act as a reliable first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing clear guidance and support while escalating more complex employee relations matters as needed
- Ensure compliance with Ontario employment legislation by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and supporting the application of policies and practices
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency across the Toronto studio’s P&C operations
- Contribute to a positive, well-supported studio environment through a consistent in-person presence (minimum three days per week)
- Support the coordination and delivery of key People & Culture initiatives, including engagement activities, and internal communications
- Help bring programs to life locally by ensuring they are well-organized, clearly communicated, and effectively executed within the Toronto studio
- Partner with the broader People & Culture team to ensure alignment and consistency across locations while tailoring support to local needs
- Provide coordination support for recruitment activities across Canada as needed
- Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience through scheduling, communication, and process support
- Use Lever ATS to maintain accurate candidate records and support hiring workflows
- Assist with campus outreach and early talent initiatives, including career fairs, portfolio reviews, and internship/co-op programming

Who you are:
- You have 2–5 years of experience in a People & Culture, Human Resources, or similar role
- You are highly organized and take pride in delivering accurate, timely, and well-structured work
- You bring a proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and follow through on details
- You are approachable and responsive, with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent employee support
- You are comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with team members across functions
- You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and can convey information clearly and confidently
- You are adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
