About the role
Ensures effective partnership with managers and P&CBP to execute HR programs and initiatives on time and compliant to local regulations. Responsible for assigned business units within DACH region. Stand-in for peers.
Daily challenges
- Ensure pro-active relationship management with people managers in scope
- Work closely with people managers to understand their business and related HR challenges
- Manage local implementation / execution of HR programs, providing advice and collaborating with people managers
- Oversee assigned HR projects for DACH region, manage project team and monitor progress
- Advice people managers on performance and talent management strategies and policies incl. local regulations
- Collaborate with HRBP and people managers regarding implementation of organisational changes and WFR
- Ensure data-driven decision making and monitoring on HR KPI for assigned business units
- Develop, align and implement corrective actions in case of business risks related to HR issues
- Facilitate and support on conflicts and employee grievances
- Manage operational aspects of employee relations (e.g. consultation on individual cases and grievances)
- SPOC for HRBP and people managers to advice on applicable regulations (especially during change and on escalated individual cases)
- Collaborate with HR Operations and HR COE to solve people related issues and handling escalations, especially when associated to compliance questions
- Stay up-to-date to HR and labour market trends as well as to local regulations
eXperience and skills required
- Relevant graduation or extensive professional experience in applying core HR concepts and methodologies
- Continuous learning on the point of need and using feedback for self-development
- Quick learner and ability to adopt to new situations
- Excellent communication skills and relationship building
- Collaborates easily with a variety of stakeholder
- Advanced problem solving skills incl. analytical skills to identify and manage root-causes
- Ability to facilitate in conflict situations
- Professional fluency in English and German
- Familiar with relevant HR systems
