We are looking for an experienced People Business Partner to join our team in Tallinn. You will be working within a small People Team predominantly based within the UK, providing support in a number of key areas including recruitment, vetting, onboarding, and development of our LHV Bank employees based in Estonia as well as in the UK. You will play an essential role in working closely with management and employees, establishing and driving best in class people and talent initiatives whilst helping to maintain and develop our HR systems and processes ensuring a consistent and seamless experience.

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to achieve high levels of trust, respect and professionalism
- Advise and coach stakeholders on how the people agenda will support them in delivering success
- Provide HR expertise in employee relations, development and coaching, compensation and organisational development
- Support a culture of high performance where talent is recognised, stretched and managed as required
- Support managers and their teams with all day to day people matters
- Collate and analyse various employee reports to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions to your stakeholders
- Coordinating and conducting pre-employment checks for new starters and annual checks for senior employees in collaboration with the compliance teams.
- Owning onboarding and offboarding process for all LHV Bank new starters and leavers based in Estonia.
- Conducting and organising new starter induction meetings and exit interviews.
- Keeping systems up to date including the HR, training and applicant tracking system
- Assisting with the automation of HR processes on our HR, Training and Recruitment systems
- Recording training on employee training records and reporting on training completion
- Assisting with obtaining sponsorship for potential new hires
- Being the first point of contact including the day-to-day management of the peopleteam mailbox.
- Leading on the end to end recruitment related activities ensuring inclusivity in how we recruit the best talent
- Collaborate with the People team to support a ‘one team’ approach, championing and accelerating a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver
- Creative thinking about the future of work and how we enhance our employee experience.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience operating as a generalist People Business Partner ideally within financial services/banking or fintech
- Deep understanding of the Estonian employment landscape and labour laws
- Strong recruitment skills, with experience of hiring engineering / technical talent.
- Excellent English language skills – both verbal and written
- Ability to work at all levels, we are hands on business and work at pace!
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaborating as part of a growing team
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards during busy periods
- Ability to effectively maintain and build relationships with stakeholders
- Strong work ethic with a flexible and can-do attitude
- Team orientated with the ability to manage own workload and work on own initiative
- Good interpersonal, communication and questioning skills both verbal and written
- Approachable and people-focussed with the ability to listen and understand the needs of the employees, together with those of the company
