About Blitzy

Blitzy is a Cambridge, MA based AI software development platform on a mission to revolutionize the software development life cycle by autonomously building custom software to unlock the next industrial revolution. We’re transforming how enterprises build software, turning enterprise requirements into production-ready code with an agentic software development platform that can autonomously execute 80% of the quantum of software development work. We’re backed by multiple tier 1 investors, and have proven success as founders of previous start-ups.

Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid)

Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience

The Role

Blitzy is looking for a sharp, data-driven HR Analytics Partner to build the people analytics function from the ground up. As our first dedicated HR Analytics hire, you’ll partner closely with our People & Operations and Finance teams to surface workforce insights that directly inform how we hire, develop, and retain the talent powering Blitzy’s growth. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and people—and who wants to shape how a category-defining company thinks about its most critical asset.

What Success Looks Like

  • Within 30 days, you’ve audited existing HR data sources, identified gaps, and presented a roadmap for building a scalable people analytics infrastructure.
  • Within 90 days, you’ve delivered your first executive-facing workforce dashboard, enabling leadership to make data-backed decisions on headcount, retention, and performance.
  • Within 6 months, you’ve established recurring reporting cadences, embedded analytics into key HR processes (recruiting, performance cycles, compensation reviews), and begun building predictive models for attrition and hiring needs.
  • You are trusted by the business as the go-to resource for people data—proactively surfacing insights rather than waiting to be asked.

Areas of Ownership

  • Design, build, and maintain people analytics dashboards and reports covering headcount, attrition, recruiting funnel, DEI metrics, compensation equity, and engagement.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, and senior leadership to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable insights.
  • Own the integrity and governance of HR data—establishing standards, definitions, and processes to ensure consistency across systems.
  • Develop predictive models and scenario analyses to support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design decisions.
  • Drive the selection, integration, and optimization of HR technology and data tools (HRIS, ATS, engagement platforms).
  • Create compelling data storytelling—turning complex analyses into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Monitor industry benchmarks and external talent market data to contextualize internal metrics.

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in HR analytics, people analytics, workforce planning, or a related data-focused role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, Rippling) and ATS systems.
  • Strong analytical foundation—comfortable building models in Excel/Google Sheets, with exposure to Python or R as a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations.
  • Track record of presenting data insights to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions.
  • Experience in a fast-growth startup or technology company environment.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • You’ve built a people analytics function or dashboard suite from scratch, not just inherited one.
  • You have experience with predictive HR analytics—attrition modeling, flight risk scoring, or workforce demand forecasting.
  • You bring a consultant’s mindset: you ask the right questions before building the answer.
  • You’ve worked in high-growth AI, SaaS, or enterprise tech companies and understand the talent dynamics of scaling technical teams.
  • You can move fluidly between deep analytical work and clear executive communication without losing either audience.

What Makes This Role Different

This isn’t a reporting role—it’s a builder role. You’re joining at a moment when Blitzy is scaling fast and the decisions we make about people in the next 12–24 months will define the organization we become. You’ll have a direct line to founders and executive leadership, real influence over how we grow our team, and the rare opportunity to build a people analytics discipline from a clean slate. You’ll also work alongside a team that genuinely believes data and human judgment are complementary—not competing—forces.
