Pediatrician Opportunity | Competitive Compensation & Supportive Team | New Kent, VA
Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents is seeking a compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible Pediatrician to join our team in New Kent, VA. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers the opportunity to provide care for children and adolescents ages 2–22 in an acute care, inpatient, and residential setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients ages 2–18
- Participate in admissions, discharge planning, treatment team meetings, and medication management
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, APPs, nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, dietitians, and support staff
- Support daily clinical care in an inpatient and residential treatment environment
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited program
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics
- Active Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum of 5 years of training or practice experience
- Meets all credentialing requirements
