As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you'll have the opportunity to work with children in a supportive environment that values quality care and meaningful patient relationships. Responsibilities and Qualifications

     
  • Provide pediatric occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and in accordance with physician-approved treatment plans.
  • Implement individualized therapy programs to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, strength, range of motion, mobility, self-care, and functional independence.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and strategies to support continued progress.
  • Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Build positive relationships with children and families while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
  • Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
    • Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligible to obtain licensure before the anticipated start date.
    • Pediatric experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Passion for working with children and helping them achieve developmental milestones.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Skills Required
