The Role

Join the Honeybee Robotics Motion Control team in Longmont, Colorado, and become part of a 40-year legacy as pioneers in space robotics. Honeybee Robotics is looking for a Configuration Business Analyst I who can effectively navigate, utilize, and understand the functional relationships within Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS) ERP. The ideal candidate will manage IFS Part records, document management activities, and the IFS PDM Module.

Responsibilities:

  • Navigate, use, and understand the various functional relationships between data, logical units, and modules in IFS ERP affected by Configuration Management activities and data maintenance. This includes:
  • Creating, setting up, maintaining, validating, and using IFS Part records, such as Master Parts, Sales Parts, Engineering Parts, Inventory Parts, Purchase Parts, and Part Revision maintenance.
  • Managing Document Management activities for HBR Engineering (Design, Manufacturing, Testing, Quality, Analysis, etc.), including maintaining and accounting for document status, primarily through Change Requests.
  • Understanding the utility, usage, and constraints of the IFS Product Data Management (PDM) Module for HBR, compared to CAD PDM Vaults, and performing Engineering Part Revision transfers and managing change effectivity.
  • Communicating changes substantiated by a Change Request or Change Order to primary stakeholders as needed, including notifying appropriate actors, such as informing a Buyer to update a Purchase Order with a newly released drawing revision and its associated part revision.
  • Locating various resources of information within IFS to ensure objects affected by a change are identified, which may require finding and/or referencing Shop Order Requisitions, Shop Orders, Inventory Parts in Stock, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Purchase Receipts, Lot Batches, Part Revisions, etc.
  • Adhere to and reinforce established HBR quality management processes and procedures.
  • Respond promptly, efficiently, and thoroughly to priority changes with relatively short notice to meet various business requirements and needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in navigating and using IFS ERP.
  • Strong understanding of document management activities for engineering disciplines (Design, Manufacturing, Testing, Quality, Analysis, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to adhering to and reinforcing Honeybee Robotics' quality management processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the various products and product families provided by Honeybee Robotics Motion Control, including TCAPs, SADAs, Controllers, Framed Motors, P35s, integrated systems.
