Job Description

SUMMARY

Prepare and process multi-state payroll for multiple companies and manage related reporting functions for various departments. Work with the Payroll Manager to make changes and/or to improve efficiencies in the payroll process and documentation of procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.• Gather bi-weekly payroll documentation for multiple entities• Process accurate bi-weekly payroll for assigned companies• Prepare payroll-related reports for companies processed• Collaborate with payroll team to continuously improve efficiency• Review and resolve payroll issues in a timely manner• Review payroll liabilities for federal state, local, unemployment, and social security taxes for accuracy• Process garnishments and payroll-related deductions• Maintain clinical utilization reports• Assist with quarterly tax reconciliations• Review workflow approvals to ensure timely payment of one-time bonuses• Assist with SOX audits• Assist with audits to ensure that Payroll is processed in accordance with applicable approvals, policies, procedures, practices, reporting requirements, regulations, and laws• Answer employee inquiries in a friendly and timely manner and troubleshoot payroll-related issues• Comply with Graham Healthcare Group's Core Values and Core Competencies• Perform other duties and financial analysis as assigned by management

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience processing payroll• Five (5) or more years of experience processing multi-state payroll• Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical skills• Self-directed, requiring little guidance to handle tasks• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and PivotTable• Experience with Workday a plus

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have and maintain in good standing professional license, certificate, or registration, as applicable.
