Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processes payroll bi-weekly for designated employee groups, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Analyzes payroll information, reports, and exception items to identify discrepancies and resolves accordingly prior to payroll processing.
- Processes manual payroll inputs and reviews other team members’ manual payroll inputs, ensuring accuracy.
- Processes terminations, which requires knowledge of multi-state final pay laws.
- Serves as the point of contact to employees, management, and HR regarding payroll-related questions and routine payroll matters.
- Manages and monitors the payroll inbox, ensuring timely follow-up, issue resolution, and completion of payroll-related action items.
- Leads garnishments, tax withholdings, employment verifications, unemployment claims, and other payroll compliance activities.
- Coordinates with HR, branch leadership, and other departments to ensure employee changes are completed accurately and timely as it relates to payroll.
- Maintains payroll records and supporting documentation in accordance with internal payroll process, company policies, and retention requirements.
- Provides backup support for payroll team responsibilities to ensure continuity of operations and timely payroll processing.

- Must be able to demonstrate dependability and initiative.
- Must have good command of the English language, both oral and written.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma required. College degree is a plus.
- Two or more years of experience in a corporate environment.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Occasionally may require light lifting up to 25 pounds.
