As a Payroll Specialist I here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for processing payroll transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees. Responsibilities- Good knowledge in China payroll processing, ensuring full compliance with PRC labor law, IIT regulations, and local tax bureau requirements, with a consistent 100% accuracy
- Acted as a key point of contact for payroll and tax audits, supporting internal and external audits.
- Preparing tax filing proofs, and supporting documentation, explaining China‑specific payroll and tax logic to global stakeholders whenever needed
- Completed monthly Individual Income Tax (IIT) declarations through the Golden Tax System (GTS) / local tax bureau portals for responsible legal entities, including:
- Salary and wages
- Bonuses and annual one‑off payments
- Allowances and taxable benefits
- Special Additional Deductions
- Managed monthly payroll tax reconciliations, validating payroll results against IIT filings, social insurance bases, and housing fund contributions to ensure alignment between payroll system data and statutory submissions
- Supported annual IIT settlement (汇算清缴) processes, including
- Employee data completeness checks
- Tax reconciliation and variance analysis
- Coordination with local employees and HR for clarification and corrections
- Participated actively in China Hub HRS / HOS operations, collaborating with:
- Local HR teams
- Global payroll COEs
- External payroll vendors and tax consultants
- Finance and statutory reporting stakeholders
- Ensured adherence to local compliance timelines, including:
- Monthly IIT filing deadlines (typically before the 15th)
- Social insurance and housing fund payment schedules
- Quarterly and annual statutory reporting deadlines
