We are looking for a Payroll and Benefit Specialist who is self driven and a great teammate to come join our dynamic team. As part of the US HR team, this position will work closely with Human Resources and other cross functioning teams.
What you will do
- Administrate full scope of payroll and benefits administration for the entire lifecycle of all exempt and non-exempt employees, including tax rate changes, life events, leave administration, benefit enrollment, garnishments, deductions, and investigate and resolve pay issues and end user testing for payroll system changes to ensure a seamless payroll process with minimal gaps and data errors
- Support payroll processing for U.S. (30%) and Canada (70%)including but not limited to, new hires, transfers, pay changes, separations, garnishments, deductions, etc, accurately into payroll systems
- Ensure data integrity and integration between benefit vendor sites and HRIS + payroll system
- Work closely with managers of nonexempt employees to ensure time cards are accurate and free from error
- Perform other payroll tasks and HR projects as needed
What we are looking for
- 2- 4 years of experiences in administrating Canada and US payroll
- Prior experiences setting up internal processes to ensure payroll and benefits are accurately delivered and compliant with state and federal regulations
- Experiences in project management to improve operational efficiency for payroll and benefits
- Meticulous attention to details
- Positive team player
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form (Mandarin is a plus)
- ADP and WorkDay experiences preferred

CaliforniaThe base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $69,600.0 to $141,600.0 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
