Payroll Analyst IV

Position Summary:

• Works independently with guidance on complex tasks, performs a variety of complex functions in the preparation, processing, maintenance, verification and reconciliation for multiple payrolls, and reconciling payroll accrued account.
• Manage expatriate program to include review and approval of balance sheets and maintain tax compliance.
• Act as functional lead on the payroll integration of Corporate Development.
• Manage the payroll development and implementation of HCM system upgrade and tax updates.
• Analyze payroll processing problems and recommends best practices to implement new solutions.
• Makes recommendations to the Payroll Manager for development or enhancement of payroll procedures and documentation.
• Responds to internal and external customer non-standard requests.
• Leads payroll staff members and may perform duties of Payroll Manager in his/her absence.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Four year college degree required and certified payroll professional (CPP).
• Eight or more years experience in a payroll position.

Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge:
(Ranges from task-focused to integrating related functions, to broadly strategic integration)

• Advanced understanding of payroll administration, recordkeeping and reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of Basic accounting principles as related to payroll processing.
• Advanced knowledge of software applications related to payroll systems and time and attendance systems.
• Integrity and honesty.

• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Good business judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to create and manage complex queries and spreadsheets and provide high level analysis of data.

• Ability to lead Payroll staff and direct work to team as required by Payroll Manager.
