Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll & Accounts Payable Administrator to support our finance and administrative operations. This role is responsible for processing payroll, managing accounts payable, overseeing licensing requirements, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate is a strong multitasker with excellent attention to detail, solid Excel skills and Paylocity experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll- Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees in Paylocity
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Manage employee deductions, benefits, and timekeeping records
- Address payroll-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payments accurately
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
- Ensure timely payment of all obligations
- Track and manage business licenses, renewals, and certifications
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems
- Provide general administrative assistance across departments
- Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper
- Assist with reporting, data entry, and internal documentation
- Support special projects as needed
Requirements
Qualifications
- Paylocity experience and certified payroll
- Knowledge of Prevailing Wage
Proven experience in payroll, accounts payable, or similar administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, data organization, and reporting)
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience with payroll or accounting software
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Experience managing licenses or compliance-related tasks
- Detail-oriented and highly accurate
- Well-organized with strong time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and proactive
- Office-based
