About the role
The team is looking for a SOCPA-registered Payroll Accountant to manage end-to-end payroll processing in line with Saudi labor laws and financial reporting standards. This role will ensure accurate salary disbursements, GOSI and EOSB calculations, and proper payroll accounting and reconciliations with the General Ledger. The hire will also oversee payroll reporting, benefit accruals, and coordination with Finance on headcount and cost allocations. Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and compliance expertise are essential.
What you'll do
- Process monthly payroll in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and reconcile payroll accounts with the General Ledger.
- Prepare payroll reports and ensure compliance with SOCPA and IFRS standards.
- Manage GOSI contributions, EOSB calculations, and employee financial records.
- Meticulously accrue for employees’ vacation balances, tickets, and other employee benefits.
- Coordinate with Finance for budgetary controls and cost center allocations.
- Handle payroll agreements with banks and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
- Maintain employee payroll files and ensure confidentiality.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries.
- Prepare monthly status on headcount (number and growth) and spend.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- SOCPA certification required.
- 2–4 years of payroll or accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi labor laws, GOSI, and payroll cycles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
