About the Role
We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Payoff Operations Specialist to join our Finance team at a Biz2credit, focused on alternative lending solutions for small and mid-sized businesses. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our payoff process and ensuring seamless customer experiences through accurate documentation and responsive communication.
Key Responsibilities

• Generate and review, merchant payoff letters to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Process requests for payoff letters from borrowers, legal and collections team Process and log check deposits efficiently and accurately.
• Generate borrower remittance statement and Serve as a point of contact for merchants regarding payoff instructions and provide support related to pay off amount calculations
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Servicing, Legal, collection and to resolve any discrepancies or escalations.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of accounting experience in financial services, fintech, or loan servicing; alternative lending experience is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial documentation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); experience with CRM or loan management systems is a plus.

Salary Range
$70k-$80k
