As a Strategy and Transformation vicepresident, you will be a strategic partner to Payments leadership in the Andean, Central America and Caribbean region, helping drive business performance, manage risks, and support key initiatives. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to influence outcomes, lead change, and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with Senior Executive Management to identify, observe, challenge, propose, and create the regional strategy, ensuring strategic choices are explicit and decision-ready.
- Develop structured strategic perspectives on growth priorities, client and coverage themes, and operating model considerations, grounded in sound analysis and business context.
- Translate insights into a clear set of proposals aligned with the Global–LATAM strategy, including strategic rationale, expected impact, constraints, and implementation implications.
- Bring opportunities to country leadership teams with practical adoption pathways, ensuring local relevance, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
- Assess external conditions (macroeconomic context, competitive positioning, regulatory and market structure, and client trends) to identify opportunities and emerging risks.
- Assess internal conditions (sales performance, pipeline quality, client penetration, product adoption, delivery capacity, and execution constraints) to identify performance drivers and gaps.
- Facilitate strategic forums and leadership working sessions, ensuring clear outcomes, ownership, and follow-through.
- Partner with business heads as a trusted advisor, supporting decision-making and strategic planning.
- Realize an active leverage from business management artifacts as financial assessments, business case evaluation and others to, sustain, validate and set the framework validation of its Strategic plan /pipeline proposition.
- Oversee budgeting, and forecasting processes in alignment with value proposition and strategy execution.
- Drive change by prioritizing business opportunities, potential risks & issues, proposing solutions, and leading initiatives to completion, ensuring compliance with corporate objectives and policies.
- Prepare impactful presentations and reports for senior management, synthesizing complex information into clear narratives.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Finance, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Data & Analytics to achieve business objectives.
- Support business resiliency and continuity efforts.
Required Skills, Qualifications and capabilities
- Track record of translating strategy into execution through roadmaps, governance routines, and delivery discipline.
- Demonstrated experience with +10 years in strategy, transformation, business management, management consulting, or equivalent roles in financial services or similarly complex, regulated environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field. Masters in Finance , Business Administration (preferrable)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to distill complex information into key insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations.
- Confident leader with the ability to influence outcomes and build relationships across teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, consulting-style environment.
- Experience in Payments, consulting or understanding of payments products and processes is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; ability to scale automated reporting and dashboards and experience using AI-enabled workflows to streamline data preparation, insight generation, and narrative drafting for senior stakeholders.
- Proficient in English (C2); Portuguese is a plus.
