Currently, we are currently seeking a dedicated Payments Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in overseeing all checkout and payment-related issues and initiatives on a global scale.

  • Monitor payment trends and proactively identify areas to enhance processing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Assess the checkout process and customer experience to uncover opportunities for improvement, ensuring a seamless and secure payment journey.

  • Recommend new payment providers to enhance our offerings across all Groupon markets.

  • Analyze authorization rates to identify potential issues and propose solutions to optimize approval rates while maintaining security standards.

  • Collaborate with payment service providers and financial institutions to refine processing methods and minimize transaction costs.

  • Drive continuous improvements in payment analytics to boost accuracy and efficiency.

  • Partner with the finance team to ensure timely and precise reconciliation of payments and related records.

  • Provide expert guidance to customer support teams on payment-related matters.

  • Stay abreast of the latest payment trends, tools, and techniques to enhance optimization efforts.

  • Act independently with a solid grasp of financial and strategic company KPIs, translating company policies into actionable internal guidelines.

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of documented experience in fraud prevention.

  • Strong business acumen and an in-depth understanding of company KPIs.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.

  • B2+/C1 English proficiency.

  • Experience in an international environment and collaborating with diverse teams.

  • Ability to address multiple business queries with minimal supervision.

  • Proven track record as a trusted advisor, effectively presenting solutions to stakeholders.

  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects.

  • A proactive attitude and a sense of ownership in your work.
