Payments - Client & Transaction Manager - Project Finance - Middle Office – Vice President

As part of its continuous support to clients, J.P. Morgan continues to expand it’s global product proposition dedicated to the project & infrastructure finance space. Reporting into the head of middle office for APAC, you will have i) good industry experience and knowledge to contribute to the ongoing expansion of the product design and development of the service offering; ii)leadership skills and creditability to work closely with the rest of the Treasury Services product organization, the Investment Bank, Global Coverage Banking and functional partners to further develop and promote the value proposition; and iii) ethics and mind-set to act as a business owner.
Job Responsibilities
Understand the business purpose and deal structure for new Project Finance Account Bank mandates, proactively identifying deliverables and challenges and contributing to the structuring process; partner with origination teams to understand client needs and expectations
Partner with internal and external legal counsels, coordinating the review and negotiation of governing documentation and ensuring it meets J.P. Morgan risk appetite
Interact with clients in a proactive and professional manner ensuring the highest level of responsiveness and client service
Ensure deal information is set up on all operating systems and contractual obligations denoted including client access to electronic banking if required
Ensure the account structure is properly and accurately implemented
Act as the primary point of contact for the APAC client base, providing strong customer service by responding quickly to client requests, offering solutions to client needs, and developing meaningful client relationships
Partner with sales organizations to facilitate the retention of client relationships
Provide support to sales organizations on new business prospects as required
Ensure payments, administration and risk aspects of project finance related account portfolio are handled in accordance with contractual requirements and J.P. Morgan policies and procedures
Look for opportunities to involve clients in key business initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related disciplines
Minimum 8 years of experience within financial services
Experience in legal contract negotiation, preferably account bank, agency, escrow, trust or similar contracts with strong finance document review and leadership skills; ability to review and understand financial models, budgets and other project related documentation. Demonstrated sales and strong customer service orientation.
