We are looking for a highly motivated Payments Analyst to join our team. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, the ability to acquire complex knowledge autonomously, and a strong focus on optimization and automation. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated monitoring processes to track payment flows, anomalies, and performance KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the performance and cost of payment providers and recommend action plans to management
- Design, develop, and maintain Python scripts to automate monitoring and reporting processes
- Monitor daily payments activity and flag irregularities
- Investigate discrepancies and proactively communicate insights and resolutions
- Analyze trends and help predict potential issues or optimizations in payment operations
- Create financial models for data-oriented decision support
- Take ownership of assigned projects and deliver results independently
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering/Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics
- Proficient in Python with experience building automation and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with BI platforms (Tableau - advantage)
- Complex problem-solving ability, agility in a dynamic environment, and strong quantitative and analytical competency
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion
