As a Payment Lifecycle Associate I within Payments Operations, you will enhance our payment operations framework by streamlining processes, implementing new technologies, and developing operational functions, while managing payment processing across various products to ensure smooth fund transfers and reconcile purchase and sales options, futures, or securities. Leveraging your proficiency in automation, cybersecurity, and anti-fraud awareness, you will ensure the security and efficiency of our payment lifecycle. Your ability to manage stakeholders, influence decisions, and handle conflicts will drive mutually beneficial outcomes, while your strategic planning skills will guide our direction and resource allocation decisions. Additionally, your proficiency in AI/ML will be utilized to solve complex problems and enhance processes, applying your knowledge in market product and process improvement to optimize our operations.
Job responsibilities
- Execute daily BAU processing and verification of cash wires in a controlled, risk-focused environment.
- Review, analyze, and publish daily/weekly operational data from multiple tools; reassess operational risk as business, regulatory, process, staffing, and technology changes occur.
- Drive operations efficiency by identifying improvement opportunities, proposing ideas, and implementing process/control enhancements.
- Participate in and deliver mandatory projects (process improvement, automation, control uplift, client/service enhancements).
- Partner with Product, Network, Technology, and Client Service teams to improve efficiency and client experience.
- Support audit and control activities, including audit reviews and internal QA/QC checks with internal controls teams and external auditors.
- Ensure timely review and re-certification of procedures, Operating Service Agreements, and Business Resiliency plans.
- Manage performance reviews for direct reports and support career development through goals and coaching.
- Build backup coverage plans and drive cross-training to ensure knowledge transfer across teams.
- Knowledge of custody cash operations, SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 standards, and relevant cash/payment message types (e.g., MT103, MT202, MT210, MT304, MT321, MT199, MT192, MT292, MT599 and ISO 20022 messages such as pacs.*, camt.*, pain.*).
- Flexible to support India night shift coverage for the North America region; able to manage tight deadlines, stay organized, and balance priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive in driving controls, change, and efficiency improvements.
- Project execution/delivery is a must (plan, execute, track, and deliver outcomes).
- Understanding of program/project risk in a changing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication; proficiency in MS Excel and ability to present clearly in PowerPoint.

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with minimum 4 years of experience.
