Requirements:
- 3 years of experience required.
- EPIC charting experience required.
- Flu Vaccine Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only.
- Required certifications: ASCP - PA.
- Skills: Hospital clinical laboratory, macroscopic description of gross anatomic features, performs gross examination and dissection of large/complex specimens, performs gross examination and dissection of small biopsies, prepares tissues and histological processing, sectioning surgical pathology and specimens, specimen fixation, specimen receipt and labeling, evisceration, prepare tissue samples, tissue sampling of microscopic examination, obtain/review patient clinical information (ex: scans, x-rays, lab results), tumor triage, adult and fetal autopsies.
- Travel experience required.
Preferred Skills/Certifications/Experience:
- Skills: specimen accessioning, cut and stain frozen sections, postmortem examinations, removal of brain and spinal cord, gross/microscopic photography
- Master’s Degree preferred.
Schedule:
- Shift: 5x8 DAYS 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday-Friday.
