Home Based, US

The Biotech Partnership Enablement Specialist is responsible for supporting the Biotech Partnership Enablement Lead in managing deliverables and actions associated with the growth of emerging and established strategic Biotech partnerships, providing logistical support for the account team under the direction of the Biotech Partnership Enablement Lead. The Partnership Enablement Specialist serves as the liaison for study teams across the account to share knowledge and best practices with study Project Specialists. The role does not conduct study specific, billable activities. The Partnership Enablement Specialist also provides non-billable support to the Operational Account Lead particularly in generating partnership metrics and reports from study level information and creating communication material (such as slides) to support the operational lead’s presentation of partnership information. The Partnership Enablement Specialist may be assigned to multiple accounts.

Support Commercial Activity

  • Support the account team in the tracking, coordination and reporting of deliverables and actions identified for partnership growth
  • Support logistics and prep for internal and Sponsor meetings
  • Support updates to RFI/RFP/BPM content around partnering best practices and expertise
  • Provide support for account planning particularly with regards to the overall schedule of work being managed to grow the partnership commercially

Support Cross-SBU Partnership Design and Build

  • Provide tracking and logistical meeting support for the project management of the build, implementation, maintenance and evolution of partnership model elements under the guidance of the Partnership Enablement Lead, including:
    • Operating Model (Playbook and operations manuals) including coordinating contributions by SMEs
    • Governance Framework, including development of charters
    • Partnership Metrics & Key Performance Indicators, including partnership scorecards
    • Technology landscape with SME contribution from the Client Technology Partner to outline the data and document flows
    • Training Plans (executed by Partnership Training Leads)
    • Partnership communications, surveys, shared platforms and engagement methods and tools
  • Track SME requirements and SME assignments supporting for the partnership build
  • Track attendance and actions from workstreams to develop the above partnership elements

Support Cross-SBU Partnership Maintenance

  • Support the account team through completion of administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, creating meeting summaries and action lists, distributing, and filing key documents
  • Accountable for organizing and coordinating the maintenance and evolution of the partnership model under the guidance of the Partnership Enablement Lead
  • Facilitate the collation of partnership level metrics and generation of reports from multiple data sources and across study teams in support of the Operational Account Lead
  • Create and maintain operational reporting templates in support of the Operational Account Lead
  • Support Partnership Enablement Lead, Commercial and Operational Account Leads lead in the development of PowerPoint slides in preparation for governance meetings Assist Partnership Training Lead with partnership training curriculum development and training compliance.
  • Support development of documents and PowerPoint slides for internal purposes as well as client meetings (e.g., newsletters, study lists, bid defense materials, training documents, lessons learned summaries)
  • Provide support to project documents with partnership level information for Study Project Specialists to utilize on their projects (e.g. PMP, PSSMP etc.) ensuring standardization
  • Train and mentor study Study Project Specialists on partnership initiatives and processes. Present at partnership meetings, as needed
  • Maintain up to date tracking of workstream deliverables
  • Maintain up to date tracking of SME assignments to workstreams
  • Develop and/or update Team list, Country Point of Contacts/Local Point of Contacts list, SME list, Governance roster, email distribution lists and where needed upload to electronic filing system. Regular distribution of updated versions.
  • Manage Access to systems: Internal Portal, Client Portal and assist with, or own, Client Systems access at the Partnership Level.
  • Coordinate opportunities to streamline access management & gain efficiencies by centralizing account access management (controlled onboarding/offboarding and centralized access list) to client systems though the CAM PDC team
  • Support the creation and gathering of content for partnership communications

  • Experience in a Study Project Specialists role or similar role supporting clinical operations and/or project leadership in clinical trials

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree
