The partnerships team focuses on acquiring and growing partners in categories like Field Service Management (FSM), agencies, CRM, messaging, payments, finance, estimation, and other tools that enable our professionals to be more successful and efficiently manage their day-to-day operations on our marketplace.
Additionally, the Partnerships team works closely with different XFN partners in product, operations, sales, marketing, etc. to ensure successful implementation of key partners.
About the RoleThe Partner Success Manager, Pro & Marketplace is the primary contact for Thumbtack’s Pro & Marketplace partners, responsible for their onboarding, implementation, and growth. This role directly impacts marketplace expansion by establishing a framework that ensures partner business goals and needs are surpassed. Key responsibilities include facilitating partner issue resolution, proactively identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to enhance partner adoption and growth, and leveraging experience with existing partner accounts to identify potential new partner types, segments, and strategies for building an optimal home services supply base.
What you'll do- Serve as the primary point of contact for our Pro and marketplace Partners, with full accountability for the growth and success of these Partners
- Own the renewal process for Supply Partners in your book of business (contracts, upselling, etc.,)
- Support the maintenance of our partnership program & ecosystem with the goal of increasing the value of our partners by driving net new revenue through lead generation, brand awareness, and adoption of our integrations.
- Enable co-selling and co-marketing initiatives; including training with our partners and internal sales team to create win/win strategies.
- Manage partner relationships by setting strategic goals, KPIs, and initiatives for continued success
- Provide API and integration guidance with partners and internal stakeholders
- Work cross-functionally with product, sales, success, and marketing teams to drive continued GTM strategy with our partners
- 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, customer success, sales or similar customer-facing roles (preferably with SaaS and/or Enterprise customers)
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and deliver a customer-centric solution
- Experience managing a portfolio of accounts that met or exceeded quota or defined KPIs
- Salesforce or similar CRM experience is required
- Technology enthusiast, positively curious, and eager to build and learn
- Proven ability to manage, utilize, and prioritize your time and efforts
- For candidates living in San Francisco / Bay Area, San Jose, New York City, or Seattle metros, the expected salary range for the role is currently $148,800 - $193,000.
- For candidates living in Austin, TX or Washington DC metros or in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Washington states, the expected salary range for the role is currently $142,400 - $184,000.
- For candidates living in all other US locations, the expected salary range for this role is currently $136,000 - $176,000.
Actual offered salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as calibrated job level, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
