With a beloved product, a recognizable brand, and millions of paying subscribers, Calm stands at the forefront of the global mental health movement.  Success, in part, has been driven by a relentless culture of innovation coupled with a singular focus on making the world happier and healthier.

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to take responsibility for launch/go-to-market of new strategic partnerships and to maximize the in-life potential of those partnerships. This role will work closely with our Strategic Partner Managers, Engineering and Data teams, and more cross-functional roles. Travel may be involved.

We are hiring remote workers for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York City, or Minneapolis areas. At this time, only candidates in these locations will be considered.

What You’ll Do

Calm has a wide range of consumer-facing partnerships across industries including telecoms, retailers, e-commerce, finance, sports, auto, consumer goods, and more. Partners are geographically spread from the USA to Australia and we’re expanding with new partnerships all the time.

This person will serve as the primary liaison between Partnerships and Engineering, owning the product feedback loop by gathering and prioritizing partner insights, filing detailed bug reports or feature requests, and ensuring follow-through. You will investigate technical issues, help identify root causes, and communicate updates and timelines back to partners, helping bridge product needs with engineering solutions. You will also collaborate with the Data team to ensure all reporting and analytics requirements are met to support partner requirements as well as internal decision-making.

You will report to the Head of Partner Success and work cross-functionally with other Calm teams (e.g. Product, Engineering, CX…). Although you will be the only Partner Solution Engineer in the team, pending business growth and performance, there may be the opportunity to form and lead a team in the future.

  • Experience interacting with developer APIs
  • Experience leading technical implementations with clients or partners
  • Keen sense for prioritization, both internally and externally with partners
  • Ability to act as primary liaison between Calm and partners for technical needs
  • A self-starter that isn’t afraid to step in when needed
  • Ability to interact and work cross-functionally with other team members
  • Open to working in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
  • BA/BS degree
  • Fluent in English
