Role Summary

The PED Specialist plays a pivotal role in enabling Microsoft partners across Asia to navigate investment programs, accelerate deal execution, and drive operational excellence. This role is designed to scale partner support by providing actionable insights, coaching on program utilization, and facilitating cross-solution collaboration. The PED Specialist is not a sales or solution expert but a strategic enabler who ensures partners are equipped with the right tools, knowledge, and connections to succeed.

Key ResponsibilitiesPartner Enablement & Coaching

-Guide partners through Microsoft’s investment programs (e.g., Azure Innovate, Copilot Accelerate, CSI, MCI) with a focus on partner-led motions.
- Coach partners on building and managing their pipeline, including inbound nominations and co-sell readiness.
- Conduct regular partner check-ins, onboarding sessions, and deal coaching reviews to support opportunity progression and program compliance.

Operational Execution

- Manage day-to-day operational requests including, mailbox management, and data hygiene.
- Track and report on KPIs such as opportunity stage movement, win rates, and program funding impact.
- Maintain and update business process documentation, FAQs, and partner-facing resources.

Insights & Reporting

- Generate and analyze dashboards to provide partner insights to PDMs, PDMMs, and Segment Leaders.
- Identify trends and gaps in partner performance and recommend actions to improve engagement and outcomes.
- Support monthly business reviews and performance tracking across solution areas.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Act as a liaison between partners and internal Microsoft stakeholders (e.g., PDMs, solution area leads, investment desks).
- Help partners navigate Microsoft’s organizational structure, including identifying opportunity owners and escalation paths.

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in partner operations, business program management, or customer success roles.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft’s partner ecosystem and investment programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across cultures and time zones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong Excel skills are essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Attributes

- Experience supporting partners in cloud transformation or digital sales environments.
- Familiarity with, co-sell motions, and Microsoft Commerce Incentives (MCI).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Language proficiency in English, Japanese
