We're specifically looking for candidates with mid-week & weekend availability mid-May onwards.
What You'll Do
- Deliver tours that are engaging, informative, and punctual as scheduled and instructed
- Follow scheduled daily rotation in an efficient and punctual manner
- Maintain strong communication and professional relationships with Park Ambassadors and Guest Service Agents as well as other departments
- Provide educational information in an engaging and fun manner regarding the nature and wildlife in the rainforest
- Be familiar with the information and history of the Capilano Suspension Bridge
- Actively participate in enriching your knowledge of the Capilano’s history and the rainforest
- Accurately answer Guests’ questions with an upbeat, positive and professional attitude
- Escort, host and serve tour groups based on their itinerary and preferences
- Run tour attraction safety positions as trained

Job Qualifications
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Minimum 1 year of Guest Services experience
- Positive, friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in public speaking is an asset
- Level 1 or 2 occupational first aid is an asset
- Second language is an asset
Team Members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time. Team Members are expected to deliver the position as described under various weather conditions including but not limited to sun, rain, snow, sleet. Team Members must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions in the dark. Team Members are occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs, climb a step ladder or step stool.
Skills Required
- Availability mid-week and weekends (mid-May onward); able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
