Paralegal

In this role, you’ll support Optiver’s Group Legal team in overseeing the legal operations of our holding company, serving business units in the US, Europe, and APAC. WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of Optiver’s Group Legal team, you’ll report directly to the Group Head of Legal. You’ll work closely with the Optiver Holding and Optiver Europe Legal teams in Amsterdam, while also collaborating with colleagues in APAC, the UK, and the US.

The Global Legal team covers a wide range of legal topics, and  as Paralegal, you will focus on the following areas:

• Corporate Housekeeping: Draft resolutions and corporate documentation; manage filings with the trade register.
• Shareholder Affairs: Update the shareholder register, manage corporate events, and liaise with shareholders.
• Document Management: Maintain the Legal Document Management System; coordinate signing, filing, and contract administration.
• KYC: Ensure up-to-date know-your-customer documentation and respond to related requests.

WHO YOU ARE

• 2+ years of experience as a paralegal with a background in corporate and/or company law, preferably within an international law firm or company
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or Economics
• Proficient in MS 365 and Adobe Sign/DocuSign
• Flexible, detail-oriented, and accurate, with a structured, pragmatic, and proactive approach
• Results-driven, eager to learn, and open to diverse responsibilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
• Team player with a good sense of humor
