- Manage trademarks and domain names, including filing, follow-up, and deadline management.
- Conduct research and maintain records for domain names.
- Assist with patents maintenance and annuities work.
- Generate related reports and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Liaise with counsel and internal clients to provide support and updates.
- Stay updated on intellectual property regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with the Chief Technology and IP Counsel on strategic IP initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Chief Technology and IP Counsel.
- Paralegal Certification, Bachelor's degree, or relevant work experience is required.
- Law school students with at least two (2) full years of law school completed are also considered.
- Strong follow-up skills and proficiency in Excel are essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to act on detailed instructions and work independently.
- Highly organized with good judgment and a strong sense of confidentiality.
- Familiarity with USPTO trademarks filing interface and CPI or similar patent docketing systems is an advantage.
- Experience in a legal or corporate setting, preferably in intellectual property.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
Salary: $65,000- $90,000
The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
