Working shift will be aligned with New York business hours, from 2:30pm to 10:30pm UK time.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage NDAs and related transactional documents, ensuring legal accuracy and consistency.
- Support coordination of transactions, liaising with clients, lawyers, and third parties to facilitate smooth and timely execution of mandates.
- Proactively manage document checklists, monitor compliance and deadlines, and serve as a central point of contact for transaction stakeholders.
- Assist with due diligence processes, record management, and transaction bibles, with an emphasis on accurate documentation rather than post-completion administration.
- Oversee completion processes for transactions and maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records.
- Address client and internal queries regarding documentation and contribute to effective transaction delivery.
- Provide regular updates on transaction progress and anticipated next steps.
Candidate requirements
- LPC / SQE / foreign-qualified lawyers
- At least two years’ relevant paralegal experience in a leading law firm or legal team, with direct experience of transactional processes and a strong focus on drafting and negotiating NDAs.
- Sound understanding of legal documentation, transaction management, and compliance processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks independently, exercising sound judgement and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build constructive relationships at all levels.
- A thorough and proactive approach, with a strong focus on attention to detail, accuracy, and efficient delivery.
- Willingness and ability to work New York hours (2:30pm to 10:30pm UK time).
