Responsibilities
- Support 2 partners and 3 attorneys with Paralegal needs for commercial litigation docket with matters such as: contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, breach of contract, trade secrets, etc.
- Assist with arbitration proceedings and evidentiary preparation
- Support attorneys with temporary restraining orders (TROs), temporary injunction hearings, and expedited litigation matters
- Assist in drafting responses to Demands for Arbitration and Discovery
- Prepare materials and documents for hearings
- Assist with management of a diverse caseload, including large complex matters and smaller day-to-day disputes
- Draft and prepare discovery requests and responses, including requests for production, interrogatories, subpoenas, and motions to compel
- Review, organize, summarize, and circulate discovery materials to attorneys and litigation teams
- Manage document collections and document organization for complex matters involving multiple business entities and high-volume records
- Track litigation deadlines, disclosure requirements, court filings, and calendaring obligations to ensure matters progress efficiently
- Coordinate filings in state and federal courts
- Assist with arbitration proceedings and evidentiary preparation
- Support attorneys with temporary restraining orders (TROs), temporary injunction hearings, and expedited litigation matters
- Prepare materials for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit preparation, witness coordination, trial binders, and courtroom logistics
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, vendors, and court personnel as needed
- Proactively identify case needs, follow up on outstanding items, and help keep matters moving forward
Experience
- High School or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal required
- Experience in both state and federal court litigation
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures, discovery, and case management
- Experience supporting trial preparation preferred
- Familiarity with TROs, injunctions, or expedited proceedings
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and shifting priorities
- Have a masterful understanding of the litigation flow, as well as demonstrate the appropriate urgency and initiative in performing tasks that advance the cases toward resolution
- Comfortable billing 140 hours/month
- Overtime may be required as needed, though not frequently

Skills Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from ABA approved program
- 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
- Experience in state and federal court litigation
