Your Career
Our global internship program trains the next-generation of cybersecurity talent across a range of specializations, from threat intelligence to information security, engineering and marketing. Interns and recent graduates can learn about the network security industry from leading thinkers, grow their professional networks, and be part of a career-defining experience.
As a Test Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to interact with software and hardware test group. This is entry-level into the Palo Alto Networks Technical Operation organization and this group is responsible for the generation test infrastructure for our firewall hardware products.
Our Summer Internship Program from May-August or June-September provides you:

Your Impact
Responsible for ensuring our products ship with the highest quality through extensive and complete testing.
Design, develop and implement new test features.
Support Senior Test Engineers for development and execution of manufacturing test plans for PCBA & System validation of NGFW.
Utilize lab equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, RF testers and other relevant tools to perform testing and analysis.
Gain exposure to niche technologies like High Speed 400G/800G Optics, PoE, RF/Wireless technologies and related test systems, as well as ICT and Boundary Scan testing.
Your Experience
Experience with scripting and programming languages like Python, Tcl/Tk, C/C++, Javascript, Bash
Experience with mySQL databases.
Experience with Linux and Unix environments.
Experience with NodeJS and Single-Page web applications is highly desirable.
Familiarity with PCBA Schematic and Layout EDA Tools
Experience using common EE lab equipment
Strong written and verbal communication.
Enthusiastic, driven and confident.
Requirements – To apply, you must be pursuing a 4-year Undergraduate Degree in EE, CE or CS with a GPA of 3.0 or above and returning to school in the fall. You must have the authorization to work within the United States.
