The Role:

As Paid Social Manager, you will manage the development, launch, optimization and reporting of paid social media strategies across important channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Google/YouTube, etc.) to deliver upon clients’ goals and meet/exceed agreed upon measurements. You will develop paid strategy briefs, campaign planning, project managing paid campaigns, monitoring and suggesting optimizations, and maintaining detailed QA processes. This is a hybrid role reporting into a Vice President, Paid Social.


You will:

Client Partnership

  • Use strong experience in paid social to activate programs across networks such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.
  • Build client counsel through regular interaction during client update calls, team meetings, etc.
  • Able to articulate paid nuances to a variety of knowledge levels among clients
  • Develop deep understanding of clients' business, disease areas, unique needs and mindset of target populations (patients, stakeholders, HCPs)
  • Serve as daily support team member on multiple client accounts
  • Be a liaison with company partners and social platform representatives to ensure best-in-class delivery for clients
  • Manage social listening to analyze competition and research audience segments
  • Help ensure paid social programs are compliant with FDA regulations and social platform guidelines

Business Development & Operations

  • Deep working knowledge of how to set up and manage ad accounts and campaigns in Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google, etc. along with best practices for content and campaigns across all platforms
  • Ability to follow agency processes related to invoicing and financial management of paid campaigns
  • Participate in new business brainstorms and conduct research on new business projects
  • Take on a supporting role in evolving agency paid social media capabilities
  • Educate agency and client teams on utility of paid social media and latest advancements and trends
  • Participate in training to enhance skills and identify new ways for clients to engage stakeholders through social media
  • Continuously research the evolving social media space, staying on top of trends, new networks and shifts in consumer behavior

Leadership & Teamwork

  • Mentor and enhances skills of larger team
  • Work collaboratively with junior team members, serving as a role model and mentoring on projects as needed
  • Partner with account teams to meet client needs, communicating project objectives, direction and timing
  • Support company values and an inclusive culture


You will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, digital, business or health / science related field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years' communications or related marketing experience with pharmaceutical clients
  • Experience working across social platforms and executing programs supporting corporate, branded and unbranded healthcare initiatives
  • Direct experience working across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Google Analytics, with understanding of paid social best practices
  • Experience setting up and managing campaign pixels and UTMs
  • Knowledge of FDA social media guidelines and FTC influencer guidelines

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary – that’s why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.
