DISC Surgery Center is seeking a per diem Overnight PACU RN for our Marina Del Rey location. This position will work overnights and have a varied schedule, based on volume. Our center currently operates Monday - Saturday.
In this position, you will:
- Monitor post-operative patients' conditions and manage their pain levels
- Assess patients' vital signs and airways post-surgery
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
To ensure success in this role, you should have:
- Valid RN license
- BCLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in airway management and post-anesthesia recovery
- 2 years’ experience of PACU experience
Pay Range: $55.00 - $75.00/hour
